An employee owed Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancy are seeking a Building Regulation Principal Designer (BR PD). You would join an established team of ex- Architects looking to ensure building regulation compliance across a variety of projects. Principal Design is a higher paying industry then Architecture and you will not have as many late nights as you do in Architecture!

Building Regulation Principal Designer

Following the Building Safety Act (2022) the Building Regulation Principal Designer (BR PD) role involves Design Coordination in relation to the Building Regulations. You will liaise with your team to utilise Design Compliance trackers and provide design advice relevant to this.

Building Regulation Principal Designer Requirements

  • Confident in your Building Regulation & Gateway Application knowledge (required)
  • Minimum of 4 years of Project experience post ARB /ACIAT certification (required)
  • Member of a professional organisation: RIBA / ARB / MCIAT (preferred)
  • RIBA / CIAT Principal Designer HRB or Non-HRB status (preferred)
