Building Safety Manager (3-Month Contract)

Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35)


Are you a technical expert in building safety looking for a high-impact interim role? We are seeking a qualified Building Safety Manager to join our local authority team in London for a focused 3-month contract (very likely to be extended).


The Role

You will take a lead role in ensuring our high-rise residential portfolio meets all statutory requirements under the Building Safety Act. A primary focus of this contract will be the development and drafting of robust Building Safety Cases and ensuring our Safety Case Reports are submission-ready.


Requirements

  • Qualifications: Must hold a CIOB Level 6.
  • Experience: Proven track record as a Building Safety Manager, specifically within a local authority or social housing setting.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrable experience in writing Building Safety Cases and managing the Golden Thread of information.
  • Compliance: Extensive knowledge of building safety compliance, fire safety legislation, and structural integrity.
