What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and develop the organisation’s Building Safety service, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.
Oversee key functions including remediation programmes, Safety Case production, resident engagement, site inspections, and Golden Thread data management.
Drive service efficiency, commercial effectiveness, and consistently high-quality delivery across all Building Safety activities.
Act as a senior leader within the Building Safety & Compliance team, helping shape strategy, drive innovation, and respond to changing regulations.
Manage and develop a team of five specialists, fostering accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
Champion and embed a strong Building Safety culture through training, competency development, and career pathways.
Provide visible leadership across the organisation and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and .
Continuously improve processes, systems, and practices to ensure a market‑leading service across a growing property portfolio.
What You Need to Succeed
Relevant professional qualifications in Building Safety and/or Fire Safety (e.g. Level 6 Building Safety, NEBOSH Fire or equivalent)
Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. MCIOB, MIFireE, MRICS, IOSH, MIFSM), or working towards
Strong working knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety legislation, and associated guidance
Demonstrable experience managing high-rise residential buildings and delivering remediation and compliance programmes
Proven experience in Safety Case production, risk management, and regulatory engagement
Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, driving accountability and continuous improvement
Experience overseeing inspections, audits, and assurance activities across a portfolio
Strong understanding of Golden Thread requirements and data/information management
