Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer\n Nottingham\n Up to 55k \n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nDelivering mechanical building services projects from feasibility through to construction and handover, with values ranging from £100k to £5M.\nManaging the time, quality, and delivery of own mechanical designs.\nProducing mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications for tender and construction.\nWorking closely with other members of the M&E design team to deliver coordinated designs.\nLiaising with clients, architects, and project teams on a day-to-day basis.\nCoordinating with contractors and suppliers to support efficient and buildable designs.\nUndertaking site visits, surveys of existing installations, and monitoring works on site.\nAssisting with the development of trainee and junior staff.\nAttending site and design team meetings as required.\n Qualifications & Experience\n\nHNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.\n1+ years' experience in a mechanical building services design role.\nExperience using AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software (or similar).\nKnowledge of Building Regulations and relevant standards (HTMs desirable but not essential).\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nFull UK driving licence
