Building a sustainable tomorrow\nBAM Construction are recruiting a Building Services Electrical Engineer to ensure continuity of engineering processes on current and future projects. This role will be based out of our offices in Leeds.\nYour mission\n• Tender engineering, Reviewing designs, commentary, buildability studies, logistics and planning.\n• Project engineering. Managing design teams M&E (plus Arch / Structures interfaces).\n• Technical reviews of design requirements both systems and equipment, ensuring: specification compliance, legislative requirements, certificated scheme compliance (eg BREEAM, WELL etc.).\n• Technical evaluation of prospective manufacturers equipment submissions prior to purchase.\n• Technical evaluation of sub-contractors tender offers, Quality Assurance, programme and logistics.\n• Managing the production of coordinated installation drawings for technical compliance, buildability, operation, maintenance & H&S (CDM).\nWho are we looking for?\n• Ideally will have a Engineering Degree or equivalent and 5 years working in the Construction industry within Building Services.\n• Good knowledge of Mechanical/ Electrical systems & equipment and design / coordination requirements.\n• Good inter-personal & communication skills.\n• Working well both as a team member / leading a small team.\n• Must be able to manage there workload and good time management.\n• Good IT skills in Excel & Word; and ability to use other IT software.
