We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager / Building Services Manager to join our client's team on a high-end Hotel project near Slough in Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a strong project team, taking full responsibility for overseeing all mechanical and electrical services installations from initial coordination through to commissioning and final handover.
Role Responsibilities
Supervise and manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site Coordinate M&E installations in line with the overall project programme Review and assess drawings, specifications, and technical submissions Chair and lead building services coordination meetings Ensure high-quality installations while maintaining strict health & safety standards Manage commissioning activities and oversee final system handover
Requirements
Proven experience as an M&E Manager Proven experience delivering large-scale refurbishment projects (£10m+) Strong track record managing contractors, programme, and budget Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical services installations Solid understanding xehkeey of BMS and lighting control systems Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating services packages Familiarity with MS Project or similar Valid SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS certification
