A multidisciplinary consultancy in South East London are looking for a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, primarily within social and affordable housing development, including both new build and refurbishment schemes, with occasional projects in the education and commercial sectors. About the Role: You will be a key part of a busy, collaborative team, with responsibilities spanning: Contract Administration a core element of the role Preparing Specifications, handling Defects and Disrepair issues Elements of Project Management or acting as Employers Agent on schemes Supporting, mentoring and managing a team of junior staff Projects are typically located across South East London and into Kent, giving exposure to a variety of sites and development types. You will have the autonomy to work independently without micro management, while still benefiting from a supportive environment that encourages progression from within. What You Need To Be: MRICS qualified professionals preferred, but experienced surveyors without MRICS will also be considered Strong social/affordable housing sector experience, ideally in a consultancy or client side role Proven ability to mentor and lead...
