My client is looking for a Building Surveyor.The role involves contributing technical expertise to the assessment of new high-risk building projects, helping ensure decisions are accurate and proportionate. The successful candidate will review applications, provide specialist advice, and assist with interpreting relevant building regulations.
Key Responsibilities;
• Work as part of a team of professional specialists with responsibility for work related to building control and building regulations. • Assist Regulatory Leads and caseworkers in interpreting complex submissions in relation to compliance with building regulation, statutory processes and best practice in regulation. • Participate in MDT meetings, case validation discussion, and relevant regulatory panels, offering advice to support robust evidence-based decision making. • Help identify and address procedural or technical failings in applications and advise on appropriate regulatory responses.
