Building Surveyor Basic £35-45,000pa Car or Car Allowance

Were working with a well-established consultancy seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with real scope youll be involved in everything from surveys and design through to project coordination, contract administration and stakeholder management.

Youll take ownership of detailed building inspections across residential, commercial and industrial properties, identifying defects, structural issues, and compliance risks. Your reports and recommendations will drive decision-making and shape project outcomes. Regulatory understanding is key youll be advising clients on planning permissions, building regs, health and safety standards, and more. From feasibility studies and technical design to site assessments and budget planning, youll be trusted to bring together technical accuracy and commercial pragmatism. Working closely with contractors, engineers and other professionals, youll help coordinate works, keep projects on track, and ensure quality, compliance and value throughout.
