Job Opportunity: Building Surveyor (Repairs & Damp/Mould) - Permanent - Nottingham

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid working - office and remote)
Salary: 43,418 - 45,703 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent

We are working with a well-regarded housing association in Nottingham that is looking to appoint a permanent Building Surveyor to join their property services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving homes for residents, with a focus on day-to-day repairs and damp and mould investigations.

• Conduct property inspections and diagnose building defects
• Specify and oversee remedial works, ensuring quality and compliance
• Manage contractors and monitor performance
• Provide technical advice to residents and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and housing standards

• Experience in building surveying, ideally within social housing
• Strong understanding of damp, mould, and disrepair issues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. RICS, CIOB, or equivalent)
