Job Title: Business Administrator

Location: Paddington, City of Westminster (5-minute walk from Paddington Station)

Remuneration: £20.00 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary (ASAP to 30th June 2026; potential extension based on performance and budget)

Onsite 3 days/week, 6 hours/day

Working hours: 20 hours/week


Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, embodying professionalism and supporting Business Support colleagues.
  • Encourage self-reflection and maintain executive presence during challenging situations.
  • Manage space allocation, desk assignments, and team spaces with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the Space Planner to coordinate large-scale space requests and maintain accurate utilisation data.
  • Oversee event coordination, logistics, and act as the main point of contact.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes and manage post-event evaluations.
  • Facilitate recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new employees.
  • Collaborate on headcount management activities including transfers and offboarding.
  • Track discretionary budgets and manage expenses in partnership with Finance.
  • Resolve supply-related issues and oversee inventory management.
  • Balance multiple projects while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and lead initiatives to measure project success.
  • Build networks across organisations to support team objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives and teams, facilitating effective communication.
  • Maintain and update the Rhythm of Business calendar for local events.
  • Provide strategic calendar management support for managers, aligning schedules with business priorities.
