We’re currently seeking an experienced Business Advisory Manager to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you’ll be supporting businesses experiencing financial distress, particularly those struggling with VAT, PAYE, and National Insurance arrears. You will work in the specialist business advisory team with a proven track record of successfully negotiating with HMRC, enabling repayment plans, and helping businesses survive and recover. You’ll also deliver cash flow solutions, interim consultancy, and lender introductions, while working collaboratively with Restructuring & Insolvency, Funding, and Legal teams to achieve the best outcomes. The specific duties and responsibilities will include:

Taking an active role in client meetings from initial contact, with responsibility for progressing complex cases through to appointment and ongoing case management. Prepare profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts to support debt repayment plans for HMRC. Draft reports for HMRC negotiations and concise business reviews. Liaise with business owners and directors to gather essential financial and operational information.
