Job Description
Robert Half is recruiting for a Business Analyst with public pensions or asset management or fund migration experience.
**This role is outside IR35**
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 6- 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: outside IR35
About the Role
We are currently working with a public-sector-focused financial organisation that is undergoing a significant transformation programme. As part of this high-impact change initiative. We are looking for a brilliant BA who can help this client to deliver government pensions goals to create super funds and set this roadmap.
This Candidate needs to be highly articulate, run complex projects and good understanding of pensions/financial services (fixed income, equities, active funds etc) Experience with front office systems like Charles River, Alladin.
Key Responsibilities
Essential
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within asset management, fund operations, or a third-party administration environment Strong experience designing and implementing trading workflows within an asset management setting Experience supporting the setup of portfolio order management systems Demonstrated experience developing or contributing to data management strategies Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle processes, reconciliations, NAV oversight, fund onboarding, and client reporting Experience working with custodians and understanding custodial Target Operating Models Ability to produce high-quality process documentation and change artefacts Experience in data discovery, lineage mapping, and reporting enhancements Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or asset management or public-sector pension environments Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams Excellent documentation and communication skills Competency in tools like Monday.com and data-driven decision support Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid) Professional certification (e.g. Prince2, AgilePM, or similar) is advantageous
