We have a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, growing, global organisation as an experienced and confident Finance Business Analyst on an interim basis for approximately 6 x months. You will need a strong finance background to support transformation initiatives and process improvements across core finance functions. This position requires an immediate start, offering a competitive day rate, along with a hybrid working pattern.

Working closely with Finance, Technology, Audit, and Transformation teams, playing an important role in the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) implementation, alongside a range of finance transformation projects.

This role involves working across both business and technical teams to gather, analyse and document requirements, helping to automate manual workflows, support more standardised ways of working, and enable better use of data.

Key Accountabilities:

Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and SMEs to gather and analyse business requirements
Map As-Is and To-Be processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
Support finance transformation initiatives and system implementations, including ERP (Business Central)
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories
Create and maintain clear, structured documentation (requirements, process maps, test scripts, etc.)
Support system and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business needs
Work closely with cross-functional teams while taking ownership of deliverables and seeing them through to completion
Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and follow these through with relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst within finance transformation programmes/process improvement
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and core finance processes (e.g. GL, AP, AR, reporting)
Experience supporting ERP implementations (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is desirable)
Strong process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation and analysis
Ability to manage responsibilities independently and maintain momentum across tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work across both technical and non-technical teams
Advanced Excel skills and experience with tools such as Azure DevOps
