Job Title: Business Analyst (Financial Services)

Contract Length: 4 months initially

Location: London/Hybrid working

Rate: £600pd Inside IR35 via umbrella company

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst on a contract basis to support key initiatives within the insurance/reinsurance domain. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, analyse processes, and support improvements across the underwriting lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, manage, and document business requirements clearly and effectively
• Develop use cases and support solution design
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, translating business needs into clear documentation
• Support initiatives across the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle

• Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in insurance, reinsurance, or the London market is essential
  • Exposure to claims, underwriting, or operations is particularly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with policy administration systems
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle
