We're looking for a Business Change Manager to join our Group Finance team, supporting the delivery of a key initiative within ITV's Finance Continuous Improvement team - Corporate Simplification. This transformation aims to streamline our corporate structure, resulting in system updates and end-to-end process changes across the business.
This role will focus on managing changes within the Finance function and the impact these changes will have across ITV. It will involve working with Finance leadership and key stakeholders to embed these changes to processes and ways of working.
As the Business Change Manager, you'll be responsible for working with Process Owners to develop and deliver a business change approach. You will use best practice principles for managing the delivery of Change, Communications and Training using a human centric approach and winning hearts and minds.
This is an opportunity to deliver meaningful impact in a high-profile area of transformation at ITV.
The team
This role sits within ITV's Group Finance division, supporting the Finance Continuous Improvement team. You'll report to the Head of Finance Continuous Improvement, with a dotted line to the Head of Business Change in ITV's Transformation Management Office (TMO).
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the overall business change approach and plan, working with key stakeholders in our Finance team to understand the key changes and identify what is required to embed new ways of working.
- Work with Process Owners to design and deliver interventions for Finance and business teams e.g. communications, training, end-user support; the deployment of change should consider all areas of ITV and reflect a colleague-centric ethos.
- Design and manage a process to gather feedback and work with Process Owners to address.
- Work with Finance Leadership to equip them with the relevant messages and tools to lead during a period of ongoing change.
- Understand and manage stakeholders' requirements and expectations to ensure stakeholder understanding and buy-in - within Finance and across the rest of the business.
- Create and maintain a strong relationship with other teams (e.g. Internal Communications, programme teams) to ensure engagement activities are aligned to ITV guidelines and plans.
- Support ongoing development of ITV change methodologies and materials to build change capability.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Demonstrable experience of owning Change activity for transformation programmes within complex organisations
- Experience working with Finance teams / a basic understanding of Finance processes
- Maturity of skills and breadth of experience in change management principles, methodology and tools
- Experience of working closely and influencing senior stakeholders and programme sponsors (to Board level)
- Experience in business change where the reliance has not been solely on top-down mandate from the Leadership team
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to present to and engage teams at all levels
- Strong consultative, relationship management, networking and influencing skills
- A proactive, resilient, forward-thinking team player
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
- Preferable: experience within a creative or media organisation
