Overview Blue Legal are partnering with a Magic Circle law firm who are recruiting for a Business Development Advisor to join their team. Based in London, you will support one of their global practices in driving client relationships and revenue growth. You will act as a central BD and marketing contact, coordinating with colleagues worldwide to deliver pitches, marketing content, events, directories submissions, and thought leadership. The role involves aligning practice initiatives with wider firm and sector strategies, facilitating cross-selling, and using data-driven insights to identify opportunities for client-focused business development. The Responsibilities
Act as a key BD/marketing contact for practice lawyers and colleagues across the firm. Deliver high-quality pitches, content, campaigns, and events tailored to practice opportunities. Support client relationship and revenue growth by implementing global and regional BD plans. Drive cross-selling opportunities and contribute to client targeting strategies aligned with firm goals. Use data, tools, and marketing technology to produce targeted insights and go-to-market initiatives. Collaborate with global BD teams to ensure alignment with strategy, processes, and shared resources.
The Candidate
Deliver pitches, BD/marketing content, events, and support strategy implementation across global teams. Apply strong communication, writing, and organisational skills to manage documents, events, and stakeholder needs. Work proactively as a self-starter, balancing multiple priorities, deadlines, and global collaboration. Hold a degree in marketing, business, law, or related field; professional services BD experience beneficial.
