Business Development Consultant – Training & Courses We are looking for a confident and driven Business Development Consultant to join a growing training organisation. This role focuses on engaging with businesses, understanding their training needs, and promoting a range of professional courses.
The Role As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for contacting companies to promote and sell training courses. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, building relationships and supporting them in selecting the most suitable courses for their teams.
Key Responsibilities
Making outbound calls to companies to promote available training courses
Engaging decision-makers and identifying training requirements
Advising clients on suitable course options
Building and maintaining strong professional relationships
Managing and following up on leads
Accurately recording activity on internal systems
Working towards agreed targets and KPIs About You
Confident and professional communicator
Comfortable with outbound calling and consultative sales
Target-driven, resilient and well organised
Strong listening and relationship-building skills
Previous experience in business development, sales, telesales or course sales is desirable
An interest in education, training or professional development is an advantage
