Blue Legal are partnering with a national law firm who are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their London office. You will support senior BD managers and partners in delivering a coordinated approach to lead generation and new revenue.
Provide general support to the Business Development team across a range of activities, including preparing for and assisting with events, pitches, and meetings. Assist the Business Development team with account management activities, such as attending meetings with the Senior BDM and taking and circulating minutes. Conduct desk-based research to identify new lead opportunities and prospective clients, including background research. Build and maintain relationships with work referrers in the local market, including representing the firm at local networking events. Manage office-led events (including in-house seminars and networking events), covering invitation preparation, delegate list management, event hosting, and post-event follow-up. Research relevant local industry events for lawyers and coordinate attendance and bookings. Carry out follow-up activity from networking and business development initiatives to help generate meetings with clients, key targets, and intermediaries. Support the Senior BD Manager and partners in developing and maintaining prospect and target pipelines.<...
