Business Development Director - B&I Contract Catering Location: Midlands or Home Counties (with national travel as required) Salary: Circa £90,000 We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Director to join a leading contract catering business , with a core focus on the Business & Industry (B&I) sector . As part of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy, identifying opportunities, and securing high-value contracts. This is a pivotal role for a commercially astute professional with a proven track record of driving growth within the B&I catering market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives. Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the B&I sector. Build and maintain strong networks with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders. Lead bids and tenders, creating compelling proposals to win major contracts. Negotiate and secure commercially successful agreements. Work closely with operations and marketing to ensure seamless contract mobilisation. Represent the business at industry events and act as a brand ambassador.
About You
Proven success as a Business Development Director or Senior Sales Leader within contract catering or the Hospita lity sector. Demonstrable track record of winning and retaining high-value contracts. Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Established network and reputation within contract catering Strategic thinker, results-driven, and confident operating at board level. Based in the Midlands or Home Counties , with flexibility to travel.
