Our client is a specialised boutique arm of a globally recognised heritage brand in the luxury hospitality and transport sector. Operating with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up, this division manages a high-craftsmanship, bespoke vessel designed for the city’s most discerning corporate clients. Unlike high-volume public transport, this brand offers a private-jet-style experience on the water, focusing on elite B2B transfers and high-value private tours.
MISSION
The division is seeking a Business Development Executive to transition the operation from a reactive, inquiry-led model to a proactive, growth-oriented powerhouse.
The role focuses heavily on B2B lead generation and corporate partnership development. The successful hire will own the revenue stream, moving beyond inbound management to hunt and secure high-value contracts. This is a strategic opportunity for a sales professional to design an outbound strategy from the ground up, targeting elite corporate offices, 5-star hospitality groups, and luxury event planners who require a private-jet experience on the water.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively scouting the London landscape to identify high-potential B2B targets, focusing on riverside corporate headquarters, 5-star hotels, major event venues, and iconic tourist attractions.
- Designing and implementing an outbound sales strategy from scratch. This includes defining target personas, creating tailored pitch decks, and establishing a roadmap for long-term corporate partnerships.
- Managing the full commercial lifecycle with total autonomy. This begins with the Cold approach and outreach continues through discovery meetings and site visits, and concludes with the final contract negotiation.
- Moving beyond reactive inquiries to proactively open doors. The hire will be expected to pound the pavement, both virtually and in person, to introduce the brand to key decision-makers who manage high-net-worth visitors and VIP delegations.
- Building a sustainable network of referrers and repeat clients, ensuring the vessel is the first choice for VIP transfers, speaker arrivals, and premium corporate hospitality tours.
- Building and nurturing long-term corporate partnerships.
- Acting as the primary point of contact during the sales phase before meticulously transitioning confirmed bookings to the Event Management team for execution.
REQUIREMENTS
- Sales experience in either events, attractions, hospitality, venues or similar. Understanding the nuances of high-end London hospitality.
- A track record of sales success in a B2B environment, with the ability to identify decision-makers and open doors within large corporate organisations.
- Experience in building long-term partnerships.
- High standards of accuracy, ideally in a premium service environment.
- Ability to thrive within a small, agile, high-impact team.
- Deep knowledge of the city's geography and the logistical needs
- Lives in or near London and is willing to travel across London when needed
