Business Development Manager Catering Services £40-45,000 Basic, Excellent Commission, Car Allowance + Benefits The Company International Company with an unrivalled reputation Provide a unique and highly efficient service to catering/commercial kitchens Provide Chefs/Head Chefs/Executive Chefs etc with complete peace of mind with their service Rapidly expanding and offer excellent career development opportunities Strategically located they pride themselves on offering an excellent service on a local, regional, national & international basis The Role Combined Sales & PR Role To visit hospitality/catering venues across the North West Dealing with Chefs/Head Chefs within the commercial kitchens Regular & reliable contact with both existing & potential customers To meet & ideally exceed KPIs set The Person The Company will consider either experienced sales professionals or Chefs/Ex Chefs with confident personalities & good communication skills who are looking for a change of career whilst still remaining in the catering/culinary environment If sales experience then ideally with experience of selling either catering equipment or food products to Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs etc If from a Chef background then must understand the workings of a commercial kitchen, how best to approach chefs, have excellent communication skills & natural sales ability Must have a consultative style of selling this is very much a soft sell and candidates must have the ability to build successful relationships & really get under the skin of a business through effective questioning techniques Must be North West based ideally within an hour of Manchester
