We are working with a highly respected and growing professional services firm to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic marketing and BD initiatives for their Private Client practice. About the Role

The Private Client team advises high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices across the UK and internationally. Their services span wealth structuring, family law, private wealth disputes, immigration, luxury assets, and residential real estate. The BD Manager will be instrumental in driving growth, enhancing market presence, and supporting client and intermediary engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD and marketing strategies aligned with firm-wide objectives.
• Collaborate with practice heads and partners to raise the internal and external profile of the Private Client group.
• Lead client targeting and relationship management initiatives.
• Drive cross-selling opportunities across the firm.
• Manage pitches, campaigns, events, PR, and content creation.
• Oversee budget allocation and assess ROI across BD activities.
• Support wider firm initiatives including international desks, client growth programmes, and strategic projects.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years' experience in business development within professional services; law firm experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Private Client sector and partnership environments.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Creative, commercially astute, and confident in leading initiatives.
• Skilled in project management, campaign development, and client engagement.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing systems (e.g., InterAction, Vuture) is advantageous.
