Business Development Manager

Job Description
The role will drive new business development activity for the company by identifying opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and generating consulting opportunities.
The role focuses on proactive outreach, relationship development, and market engagement to build a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Opportunity Generation
o Identify organisations that may benefit from the company’s consulting services.
o Research decision makers and establish contact with prospective clients.
o Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, phone, networking, and industry engagement.
· Relationship Development
o Build relationships with prospective clients and industry contacts.
o Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and conversations.
o Develop long term relationships that lead to consulting engagements.
· Market Engagement
o Run webinars, events, and outreach initiatives to promote the company’s services.
o Develop visibility through LinkedIn and industry engagement.
o Represent the company in external conversations and networking environments.
· Sales Process
o Lead early stage commercial conversations with prospective clients.
o Prepare proposals and responses to tenders where required.
o Work closely with Richard on commercial strategy and closing opportunities.
· About You
o Strong communicator and relationship builder.
o Confident initiating conversations with senior professionals.
o Commercially minded with a proactive approach to generating opportunities.
o Motivated to develop a career in business development within consulting.
· Salary
o Base salary £30,000 plus commission, linked to new business generated.
