The Role

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in delivering the sales strategy across B2B channels. The role combines strategic business development with hands-on account management and relationship building.


Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of commercial sales strategy across trade and retail channels
  • Drive revenue growth, gross margin, and product mix across assigned partner accounts
  • Develop, manage, and grow key trade and retail relationships
  • Identify, evaluate, and convert new business opportunities within trade, retail, and B2B markets
  • Support the growth of a direct B2B commercial sales channel
  • Work closely with retail partners to maximise sales performance
  • Provide commercial insight to support leadership decision-making
  • Collaborate with Marketing to optimise promotional investment and campaign activity
  • Support national and regional promotions, partner events and exhibitions
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure aligned delivery against objectives
  • Share market insight and customer feedback to support product and business development
  • Support sales and product training initiatives


Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a business development or senior sales role
  • Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability
  • Confident influencer with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive, self-driven, and solutions-focused
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
