Security Business Development Manager – Permanent

A leading European IT solutions provider expanding across the UK and Ireland is looking for a confident Security Business Development Manager to take its cybersecurity offering to the next level. This is a great opportunity to influence strategy, build key partnerships and play a vital role in strengthening the company’s presence as a trusted end-to-end security provider.
We’re seeking someone with the drive to grow cybersecurity business across both regions. You’ll work alongside account managers, helping them engage clients with confidence and showcase a strong range of security solutions, vendor relationships and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across mid-market and enterprise clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including CISOs, IT Directors and CTOs
- Support account managers with client engagements, pricing and solution positioning
- Manage end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting to contract negotiation
- Build and leverage vendor relationships to access sales support and co-selling opportunities
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
Requirements
- Proven track record of some relevant B2B sales success
- Strong consultative sales and presentation skills, with experience selling to senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial, target-driven and motivated by new business development
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset with solid organisational ability
- Understanding of cybersecurity technologies, markets and frameworks beneficial
- Experience working across multiple regions advantageous
