This is an opportunity to join a well-established industrial engineering business delivering bespoke heat exchange solutions to critical UK sectors.In this field-based role, youll take ownership of the full sales lifecyclebuilding relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting technical challenges into commercial success. Youll work closely with internal engineering, service and operations teams to ensure customer solutions are both technically sound and commercially competitive.What youll be doingDriving sales growth in line with company strategy and targetsIdentifying and developing new business across sectors such as Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Facilities Management, Food & Drink, Chemical, Oil & Gas and Power GenerationManaging customer relationships from initial contact through to project deliveryConducting customer visits, onsite assessments and technical discussionsPreparing cost estimates, quotations, bids and tendersSupporting contract negotiations and bid submissionsProviding market insight and intelligence to senior stakeholdersEnsuring smooth handover to service and operations teamsMaintaining accurate reporting and CRM dataPromoting strong safety, health and environmental standardsWhat were looking forProven business development or sales experience within mechanical or industrial engineeringStrong technical understanding of engineering principlesTrack record of winning and developing accountsComfortable working independently in a field-based roleWillingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight staysDedicated home workspace and full UK driving licenceDesirable: experience with heat exchangers and exposure to sectors such as power generation, rail, marine or oil & gas.Whats in it for youCompetitive salary £50,000£60,000 (DOE)Company car or car allowanceEmployer pension contribution25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidaysLaptop and mobile phone providedApply now for a confidential discussion and the chance to make a real commercial impact.JBRP1_UKTJ
