We are seeking candidates for the position of Business Development Manager for our London-based team. This is a Hybrid Role – 3 days in the office at our Moorgate location (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).ResponsibilitiesLead the achievement of targeted sales revenue and gross margin goals as set within the annual budget.Implement short- and longer-term sales/revenue strategies and develop ongoing profitable relationships with Corporate and Enterprise customers, domestically and internationally.Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and future sales potential.Collaborate with others as part of an integrated team to grow existing accounts and win new business, showing creativity and enthusiasm for the role and AVEX domestic and international business.Understand what motivates customers to buy solutions and services and assess how to fulfill those needs effectively.Job QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of successful sales and business development experience in a related industry.Proven ability to speak publicly and privately in a professional, confident, and knowledgeable way.Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.Ability to create technically and/or logistically complex proposals.Experience networking targeted customers at industry events.Experience working within a team environment to over-deliver on desired results.Experience with contract negotiations and the ability to navigate complex organisations.Experience with customer relationship databases (CRM).A very strong focus on achieving financial targets.Strong written and oral communication skills to draft sales presentations and effectively solicit business via phone and face-to-face contact.Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.In-depth understanding of the modern workspace, AV and UC collaboration industry.Previous experience selling related technical solutions and services into Corporate, Enterprise and Government both direct and through Partners.What we offerAVEX offers you a varied and challenging job in an exciting industry that uses the most modern technologies.
