Up to £50,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits, Hybrid workingAn ambitious, commercially astute Business Development Manager is required to lead and scale B2B growth for a highly respected, purpose-driven organisation operating at the heart of the UK's Christian charity, church and publishing sectors.You will take ownership of an established and growing B2B commercial engine, driving revenue across advertising partnerships, digital campaigns and software-led solutions. You will combine strategic pipeline ownership with hands-on closing capability, personally managing high-value and strategic partnerships while embedding structure, forecasting discipline and clear performance metrics across the function.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and deliver the annual B2B revenue targetLead, coach and develop a small B2B-focused teamBuild and manage a strong multi-sector pipelineMaintain accurate forecasting, staging and conversion metricsPersonally close high-value and strategic accountsReport on revenue performance, activity and forecastingUse data insights to improve targeting and conversion ratesDevelop new B2B partnerships across charities, churches, publishers and sector agenciesBuild trusted relationships with CEOs, marketing leads, fundraising teams and HR stakeholdersMaintain high client retention and satisfactionIdentify and execute upsell opportunities across the product portfolioRepresent the organisation at relevant conferences and networking eventsStay informed on market trends, competitor activity and sector prioritiesSkills & Experience Proven success within a B2B commercial sales environment, ideally with revenue ownershipStrong consultative selling capability including discovery, solution design, proposal development, negotiation and closingExperience managing pipeline, forecasting and performance metricsAbility to lead, motivate and coach a small teamHighly organised with strong analytical and forecasting disciplineConfident using multiple channels for B2B outreach and lead generationComfortable operating within an SME environment where adaptability and self-drive are essentialCommercially accountable and results-drivenWarm, credible and able to build trust quickly with values-led organisationsStrong problem solver who can identify needs and shape practical, outcomes-focused solutionsComfortable creating structure and clarity within a growing businessA collaborative team player who leads by exampleExperience within the charity, church, Christian or third-sector environment, as well as advertising, digital or software solution sales, would be advantageous.
