We are working with a leading organisation in the SaaS space who are looking for a Business Development representatiove to join the team at an exciting time of growth.
Job Overview:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will work closely with both the Sales and Marketing teams to qualify, nurture, and progress marketing-generated leads into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). This role is critical in ensuring a strong pipeline of well-qualified opportunities and a seamless handover to the sales team.
The successful candidate will be commercially driven, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, and experienced in solution-led sales environments, ideally within retail software, ERP or Microsoft ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Nurturing
* Engage with inbound & outbound marketing leads via phone, email, social, and digital channels
* Qualify prospects based on defined criteria (industry fit, needs, budget, timeline, decision-makers)
* Nurture early-stage opportunities to progress them to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Hubspot CRM
Sales & Marketing Alignment
* Work closely with Marketing to provide feedback on campaign performance and lead quality
