We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Improvement Manager to lead operational projects, streamline processes and support the continued growth of our client’s organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys creating structure and is passionate about driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

The Business Improvement Manager will plan, coordinate and deliver operational projects that enhance business efficiency, process consistency and organisational development. You will translate strategic requirements into clear, documented and fully implemented operational processes, ensuring all outputs meet internal standards and support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop project scopes and timelines to support strategic and operational priorities.

* Manage end‑to‑end delivery of operational projects, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

* Design and implement operational processes and workflow systems that improve consistency, efficiency and compliance.

* Create and maintain operational manuals and SOPs.

* Work closely with the Managing Director to progress delegated tasks and actions.

* Collaborate with senior managers to align processes and support new system adoption.

* Lead improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.

* Analyse operational data to support decision‑making and identify risks.

* Maintain accurate project documentation and trackers.

* Coordinate cross‑departmental process mapping to ensure clarity and alignment.

* Provide structured project updates and reports to stakeholders.

* Support development of tools and workflow platforms such as quotation systems and templates.

* Ensure all operational outputs meet quality standards and are delivered professionally.

* Complete administrative tasks delegated by the Managing Director.

* Promote continuous improvement and help embed operational discipline across the organisation.

Key Skills

* Experience managing operational/process‑based projects within an SME or manufacturing environment.

* Ability to design and document structured business processes.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

* Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

* Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.

* Confident stakeholder communication at all levels.

* Lean or Six Sigma experience.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* High attention to detail and accuracy.
