Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded Bristol-based accountancy firm to recruit an outstanding Business Services Finance Director (Accounting).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Director / Senior Accounting Leader with a strong background in outsourced accounting services to join a forward-thinking firm. The role offers the chance to lead high-profile international accounting projects, drive service innovation, and play a key role in the firm’s continued growth.
As Business Services Finance Director (Accounting), you will:
- Lead and deliver outsourced accounting services to a diverse client portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive business performance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and expand client offerings.
- Oversee and manage international accounting projects across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, supporting recruitment and career progression.
- Be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Have a strong background in practice accounting and business services.
- Bring proven experience in outsourcing / client accounting services.
- Demonstrate expertise in team leadership, coaching, and staff development.
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Be a proactive communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
