Summary:

Our client, a well-established energy consultancy, is looking for a Business Support Executive to join their growing team. As the Business Support Executive, you will assist residential energy customers by managing billing, change of tenancy, and metering queries, while also handling more complex customer issues with professionalism and care. This is primarily an administrative position, ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in the energy/utilities industry, a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills and confidence communicating via phone and email. Key responsibilities as a Business Support Executive:


  • Manage change of tenancy processes, including final invoicing and accurate documentation
  • Provide excellent customer support via phone, email, and portal submissions
  • Issue monthly and ad-hoc statements of account
  • Assist the recharge team with accurate billing and invoicing
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively
  • Support the Head of Customer Service with daily tasks as needed


Skills and experience required for the Business Support Executive:


  • Previous experience in a similar business support role in energy/utilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Outlook
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Eager to learn and grow within the role
  • Reliable, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines
