We are pleased to offer this temporary position for a Butcher Knife Hand through our agency. Pay & Benefits As Butcher: Basic Rate: £14.27 to £16.25 | Overtime: £21.33/hr (after 40 hours). Holiday entitlement: 5.6 weeks, accrued at 12.07%. Key Responsibilities As Butcher: * Breaking carcasses down from whole to primals using a band-saw or knife. * Follow customer specification standards. * Maintain yields and quality standards. * Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (e.g., Dropped Meat Policy). * Ensure knife safety training and guidelines are followed. * Correct cleaning and storage of knives and PPE at all times. * Full compliance with all SOPs. * General knife duties. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (potential weekend work). Shifts: 06:00–14:30 or 15:15–23:45. 30-minute unpaid break. Compliance Note: All roles require completion of Right-to-Work checks and adherence to GLAA standards. PPE and health & safety training will be provided on site.
