Established Buyer / Product Developer – Home & Accessories - £55k-£60k


Consumer Additions have exclusively partnered with a premium lifestyle brand who are looking for an experienced Established Buyer / Product Developer to take full ownership of the Home & Accessories categories across their brand portfolio.


This role spans the entire product journey - from strategy to launch - ensuring ranges are commercially successful, aligned with brand identity, and delivered on time. You will work closely with Design, Technical, and suppliers to achieve product quality, margin, and delivery targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead seasonal buying and product development strategy for Home & Accessories.
  • Build ranges that align with brand positioning and meet financial targets.
  • Use sales data and market insight to define option counts, pricing architecture, and category mix.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development and category growth.
  • Negotiate cost prices, terms, and lead times to maximise margin.
  • Drive sourcing strategy, identifying new factories and regions where needed.
  • Ensure products consistently meet quality, margin, and compliance standards.
  • Own the category critical path, ensuring key dates and launch timelines are achieved (including SMS samples).
  • Manage sample approvals and fits in partnership with Garment Technology.
  • Oversee corrective actions on returns or faulty products in collaboration with Technical.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver cohesive, market-relevant collections.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Support sustainability, ethical sourcing, and innovation across the category.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven buying and/or product development experience within Home & Accessories (multi-category experience desirable).
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of category growth.
  • Skilled in supplier negotiation and relationship management.
  • Experience managing high option counts and critical paths.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at pace and manage multiple priorities.
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and product innovation.


This role is working hybrid 3 days office, 2 home.
