We are the intelligent owners of the logistics process and strategy, operating as an integrated enabler for the successful delivery of the HPC project. The Construction Logistics Distribution Lead (CLDL) is responsible for overseeing and optimising the Final Mile Logistics (FML) distribution strategy to manage the logistics flow of permanent material from arrival at site through to the construction areas. This single role ensures seamless, centralised coordination of material deliveries to designated areas within Hinkley Point C. The CLDL is accountable for aligning distribution activities with project timelines, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and driving operational efficiency. By streamlining last-mile delivery processes, the role plays a critical part in ensuring construction milestones are met and resources are effectively allocated.
