C#, Front Office, Engineering Lead / Manager | Commodities & Energy Trading | £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits


C# Engineering Lead is needed for a Commodities and Energy Trading firm who have experienced tremendous growth in the last 24 months, over doubling their Tech team. The firm trade a comprehensive range of energy products and due to their continued success, decided 2 years ago, to bring all their technology builds in house, as they continue to expand into new Power, Oil, Gas & other Energy Derivatives markets.


Given the need to bring technology in-house, as a C#.Net Engineering Lead/Manager, you will have up to 15 direct reports, most of which will be contractors. As such, your role will be to get heavily involved in the Architecture, development best practices and standards, as well as contribution to the code & delivery. Working closely with the Head of Development & Architecture, you will get involved in understanding the needs of the business and planning the architecture and development roadmap, ensuring delivery from your team against agreed timelines.


Because the firm use ETRM’s/CTRM’s, ideally the C#.Net engineering Lead/Manager will have experience working at a Commodities/Energy trading firm and understanding the complexities of the trade lifecycle. Alternatively, they would consider a C#.net Lead/Manager from another Front office Asset class who has experience with other OMS’s


This Perm C#.Net Engineering Lead is paying up to £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits


Hybrid working: 3 days a week from the London-based Offices, a few minutes' walk from Leicester Square, Charing Cross, Embankment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the technical direction & build of the front office engineering team

Ensure delivered systems are secure, reliable and scale to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business.

  • Involvement in the technical design & also delivery of C#.net (React front end), Commodities trading systems
