Cable Jointer Manchester £50,000 + £60,000 + Vehicle + Bonus +Benefits We are working with a leading power engineering contractor in the North West, specialising in High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution networks. Projects include the installation of new networks, fault finding, and repair and maintenance of existing HV and LV systems. We are seeking an experienced HV/LV Cable Jointer who is DNO trained and holds a valid ENW (Electricity North West) authorisation. Responsibilities Carry out jointing and terminating of HV and LV cables on live and dead distribution networks Locate and repair faults on HV/LV electrical networks Work in compliance with DNO and ENW safety procedures Read and work from electrical diagrams and plans Complete safety documentation including risk assessments and permits Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance works Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and DNO representatives Requirements Valid ENW cable jointing authorisation (essential) Proven experience as an HV/LV Cable Jointer on DNO distribution networks Competence in electrical safety and operational procedures Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently or in a team Good understanding of HV/LV n...
