Job Description

Careermakers Recruitment are looking for a number of CAD Design Engineer for our ever-growing client based in Bradford, BD5\nKey Responsibilities\n * Produce 3D CAD models and generate engineering drawings using SolidWorks.\n * Review ‘in-house’ project drawings using AutoCAD.\n * Progress new designs from concept through to manufacture.\n * Revise existing designs and drawings in response to design reviews, engineering change requests, and manufacturing feedback.\n * Maintain drawing control and revision history.\n * Ensure all designs comply with internal standards and quality procedures.\n * Consult internally with sales, engineering, and production to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.\n * Liaise with suppliers on technical queries and component specifications.\n * Assist with prototype builds, inspections, and design validation.\n * Support production and installation teams with technical guidance.\n * Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles.\n * Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement.\n * Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).\n * Manage own workload to meet project timescales and seek support / report progress to Technical Manager as required.\nOther Information\n * Ensure that you remain compliant with health and safety regulations and accepted safe practice at all times.\n * SolidWorks experience is necessary\n * Carry out other duties as and when required.\n * Comply with all company policies and procedures.\n * Ensure that you implement our equality and diversity policy in all areas of your work.\n * Work with all employees within the company in the fulfilment of our aims.\nSchedule:\nMonday - Friday, 8am - 5pm\nPay:\n£30,000 - £35,000 per annum\nIf you are interested in this role please apply now or call Careermakers on\n(phone number removed)
