Job Description

Role\n\nWe're seeking a CAD Engineer with HVAC or mechanical building services experience to join a well-established contractor based in Manchester.\n\nThis is an interactive, office-based role where you'll work closely with engineers and project managers to produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings and assist in the integration of air conditioning and ventilation systems into project designs.\n\nYou'll be more than just a CAD operator - this role suits someone who enjoys being part of the design conversation and has the confidence to help shape layouts and solutions.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nProduce and update 2D AutoCAD drawings for AC and ventilation projects\n\nAssist in the coordination of mechanical services layouts\n\nWork collaboratively with project teams to ensure designs are practical and accurate\n\nPackage\n\nApproximately £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience\n\nOpportunity to work on varied and technically interesting HVAC projects\n\nSupportive environment within a growing specialist contractor\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience as a CAD Engineer, CAD Technician, or Draughtsman within HVAC, mechanical, or building services\n\nProficient in 2D AutoCAD\n\nStrong understanding of air conditioning and ventilation systems\n\nComfortable contributing to design and coordination work, not just drafting\n\nMust be commutable to Manchester\n\nWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
