Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for various projects. This role requires proficiency in multiple CAD software applications and a keen eye for detail to ensure all designs meet the necessary specifications and standards.

Duties

* Develop detailed CAD drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and MicroStation.

* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical designs.

* Utilise Sketchup and NavisWorks for 3D modelling and visualisation of projects.

* Create civil engineering designs using Civil 3D, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

* Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

* Maintain organised records of all design files and documentation to facilitate easy access for future reference.

* Participate in project meetings to provide insights on design feasibility and potential challenges.

Experience

* Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

* Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Sketchup, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D is essential.

* Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to interpret technical specifications.

* Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to identify design issues early in the process.

* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated to manage individual tasks effectively.

* A relevant degree or certification in design, engineering, or a related field is but not mandatory.
