Are you a CAD professional with a background in joinery, furniture design or manufacturing, looking for a varied role where you can take projects from concept through to manufacture and installation?
On offer is a brilliant opportunity to join a long-established bespoke kitchen manufacturer, where you will play a pivotal role in implementing and running a new CAD/CAM system while supporting design, production and installation operations.
This company is a well-established Devon-based business with over 30 years' experience, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of handcrafted, bespoke kitchens and cabinetry for high-end residential clients.
This role would suit a detail-oriented and proactive CAD Designer or Design Engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from initial client requirements to finished installation, and who wants to grow with a business investing in its future systems and people.
The Role:
Managing bespoke kitchen and cabinetry projects from client brief to production handover
Producing detailed manufacturing and technical drawings
Translating design concepts into cutting lists, material specifications and assembly details
Liaising with customers to confirm requirements and manage ongoing queries
Coordinating materials, suppliers, installations and fitter schedules
Supporting project management from design through to installation and aftercare
The Person:
Experience using CAD software within joinery, furniture or manufacturing environments
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
