CAD Technician – Façades

Our client is an ambitious, independent, multidisciplinary consultancy with offices in Central London and overseas.

They offer their clients an integrated design service encompassing a range of structural and civil engineering disciplines.

They are currently looking to recruit a CAD Technician with strong facades experience to join their structural engineering team in Central London and work on a hybrid basis.

The main function of the role is to produce 2D & 3D drawings for facade and building envelope systems, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding and glazing-systems.

Their ideal candidate will have:

* 2-4 years CAD Technician experience gained in facades.

* A strong background in creating 2D & 3D façade drawings for rainscreen systems, windows/doors systems and curtain walling.

* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential); Revit/BIM experience is a big plus.

* Solid understanding of facade systems and their components and functions

* Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.

* Excellent interpersonal skills.

* A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or CAD related discipline (preferred but not essential).

In return for the above, our client will offer a competitive salary, negotiable on experience. Plus the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
