Job Description:\n\nRole: CAD Technician\nSalary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum\nLocation: South Sheffield\nHours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, Friday 8:00am–2:00pm\nContract: Office-based, full-time\n\nWe are seeking an experienced CAD Technician with a strong background in Architectural Metalwork for the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team where you’ll be involved in producing detailed technical drawings and supporting the delivery of high-quality metalwork projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Produce 3D models using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel\n\n * Prepare general arrangement drawings and detailed fabrication drawings\n\n * Apply strong knowledge of steel and aluminium fabrication, including welding\n\n * Work closely with Contracts Managers and client teams to meet project requirements and deadlines\n\n * Carry out site measurements as required\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\n * Proficient in AutoCAD (Advanced Steel experience is desirable)\n\n * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy\n\n * Excellent organisational and time management skills\n\n * Dependable, proactive and willing to learn and develop\n\n * Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands\n\n * Confident using Excel and Word\n\n * Able to work effectively as part of a team\n\nRecruitment Pro Ltd is operating as an Employment Business.
