An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious CAD Technician to step into a management role, offering technical development and clear career progression, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, lead projects, and ultimately build and manage your own team.

This award-winning multi-disciplinary practice deliver a variety of projects across the public sector ranging from £200k refurbishments to multi-million-pound new builds, working largely within the social housing sector while also supporting high-profile clients at locations such as the Royal Albert Hall. With the practice actively expanding into new service areas and investing in the next generation of building surveyors and technical staff, they are now seeking an CAD Technician to lead the team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and coordination of detailed CAD drawings for surveys, designs, and project plans. You will lead and manage CAD delivery across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output, while also providing technical guidance and support. Responsibilities will include preparing and submitting planning applications, as well as supporting, mentoring, and developing CAD Technicians within the team, among other duties.

To be considered for this role, you should have proven experience using AutoCAD, ideally gained within the residential sector or in building surveying or architecture environments. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of office-based and remote working, with occasional site visits across London and the Southeast.
