CAD Technician (SketchUp/ Autodesk Inventor)
St. Neots
£38,000 - £43,000 + Career Progression + Training + Overtime
Are you a CAD Technician with experience using SketchUp or autodesk Inventor looking to grow your career within a supportive, close-knit and rapidly expanding business?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established yet fast-growing organisation that offers structured training, clear career progression, and overtime paid at 1.5x.
You'll play a key role within the design team of a leading UK furniture manufacturer, delivering projects across the commercial, education, and retail sectors. Working closely with clients, you'll interpret design briefs, produce detailed designs for manufacture, present visual concepts, and advise on design improvements. You'll also visit live sites to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
This role is ideal for a CAD Technician with experience using SketchUp or Autodesk Inventor who is looking to develop their skills and progress within a dynamic company that truly invests in its people.
The Role
Use Inventor to design furniture projects
Work closely with clients
Interpret design briefs
Produce detailed designs for manufacture
Present visual concepts and advise on improvements
