Capability Business Operations Partner

Location: Mostly Remote (approx. 2 days per month in Telford)
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Rate: £250pd - £280pd inside IR35

Overview

We are currently seeking a Capability Business Operations Partner to support the delivery of a 612 month capability and development strategy within a growing practice.

The successful candidate will play a key role in capability development, workforce planning, training initiatives, and operational support, working closely with leadership, learning & development teams, and staffing partners to ensure skills and talent align with business demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the practices 612 month capability plan, including training, certifications, and strategic development initiatives

• Build and maintain relationships with external partners and professional bodies to support professional development

• Support the development of capability strategy and onboarding frameworks to ensure successful integration of new joiners

• Analyse skills data and performance metrics to identify capability gaps and recommend targeted development plans

• Support budgeting and forecasting related to capability and training initiatives

• Work with staffing partners to align bench talent with project demand and support deployment decisions

• Drive community engagement and internal communications to increase participation in development initiatives and platforms

Requirements

• Experience in capability development, business operations, workforce planning, or talent strategy

• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills

• Experience working with skills data, reporting, or performance insights

• Ability to support training programmes, onboarding initiatives, and capability frameworks

• Experience in consulting, technology, or large-scale corporate environments is advantageous

Additional Information

• Mostly remote role with approximately 2 days per month onsite in Telford

• BPSS clearance required
