*Summary*

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Heathfield, East Sussex. Based at our operational hub, this role is vital for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment essential to our heavy haulage and agricultural projects, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

*Responsibilities*

* Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a range of cars & vans. * Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex systems. * Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs. * Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance. * Assist with assembly and installation of new equipment. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients. * Perform heavy lifting tasks safely during repairs or installations. * Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. * Must be computer literate * Attend to break downs when required.

* *Qualifications* * Proven experience as an automotive (car & van) mechanic. * Strong mechanical knowledge of cars and vans * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Good communication skills for customer interactions. * Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical repair are preferred

* Salary is dependant on experience. * Weekly Wage * Overtime
