Job Title: Deputy Manager Reports to: Home Manager
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in delivering safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care. You will provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and wellbeing while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities: Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the home. Take responsibility for clinical governance and oversee the service in the absence of the Home Manager. Ensure care delivery meets CQC requirements and aligns with company policies and procedures. Provide mentoring, supervision, and leadership to nurses and care staff. Conduct clinical audits and ensure continuous improvement in care standards. Review and update care plans to reflect residents individual needs. Oversee medication management and ensure accurate documentation and record keeping. Support pre-admission assessments , risk assessments, and ongoing evaluation of residents needs.
