We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join a specialist care home in Lowestoft, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident care leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and who is ready to support the day-to-day management of a service.
Role Overview As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the effective running of the service and take full responsibility in their absence. You will lead, supervise, and develop the care team, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and person-centred care at all times.
You will play a key role in pre-admission assessments, maintaining care plans and daily records, overseeing medication management, and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals. You will also role model and promote Positive Behaviour Support, supporting staff to understand and respond proactively to individual needs.
